Will Armaan Riddhima Be Back?

There are huge question marks about everything related to DMG.
And the biggest one is just exactly what is going to happen? Are AR coming back or not?

Let's try solving this huge mystery.

The current status is:5th October is past. Armaan and Riddhima are still absent from DMG. And that guy Yuvraj is talking to a man in a wheelchair whose outline looks too much like Armaan.

So basically,

• That man maybe Armaan. Some people are saying he'll turn out Yuvi's cousin or something, and will help him revenge Shashank, who might have seperated AR.
• Maybe that man is Armaan, and he's gone nuts because Riddhima is in coma, and yuvi is treating him or something.
• Maybe that man is not Armaan, and it's just a stupid promotional strategy.
• If he's not Armaan, AR may come back after some more time, after Riddhima has been treated and all, and then we may get to see the much awaited AR marriage also.
• And worst of it all,AR may be dead, in which case they'll never be back and DMG team will continue giving false news about AR, to keep their miserable TRPs going.

Well, whether they'll come back or no, we'll come to know in time.All we can do in the meanwhile is wait and watch Dill Mill Gayye!!!

"Aman" in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai!

There's been a lot of hungama in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai lately. Nandini has been crying buckets over the fact that she -well, you know very well over what so I think I'll proceed-So it seems ki finally uski problem solve ho gayi hai and the Dadda ji's household can have peace at last!In Happier Times...

Yes, you got it right, we have a new entrant in YRKKH. Supposedly, it will be discovered in the end that Akshara hasn't failed after all( what a unique twist, no! *sarcastic*) and hubby Naitik will throw a huge bash for this great achievement. And that is when Aman will make his appearance. He is a friend of Naitik, a positive and Mohit-like character.


Actor Ranvir Singh shall be playing the role of Aman.(here's the photo coz you couldn't have heard of him:

What I think is that he will fall in love with Nandini and Akshara will help them get married and stuff( and here's one thing at last which she can do! She has done it before, remember?)

So basically, this guy Aman is surely going to bring aman in Akshara's household. Hope it turns out well.

Vaise I was thinking Mohit will fall in love with Nandini, judging by the way he keeps calling her "sweetheart".


Anyway, let's wait and watch!

Why is MJHT's Excel College Wierd? Find Out Here!

Its time to.....yawn!!!

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is so unbearably boring,and so infuriatingly sexist that one just doesn't feel like watching it. Its like a marriage guide or something-Divya is always imparting beauty tips and saying trash like, "ro mat,saara kaajal beh jaayega" and all- Rajshree is as boring as ever with her lectures on how a girl should behave in her sasural, how she should respect everyone and other goody-goody stuff- and her chachi is so irritating...all she does in an entire episode is say, "Akshara, maine tumhara some-stuff-or-the-other is bag mein rakh diya hai!"

There have been no Akshara-Naitik scenes(the sole reason for my watching YRKKH) for ages, no funny scenes either-even Mohit is not in his element.... in fact the only thing that's still there is the primitive ideas that always made me hate it..

I can't simply guess just why it's still numero uno on TRP charts...

Dill Mill Gayye all set for Season 2!

Star One channel driven show, Dill Mill Gayye is all set for a change. Recently it was reported that Dr. Armaan (Karan Singh Grover) might leave the show. Well the recent development is that you may see the new faces and change in title of the show too

As per our source from the production house, “The show is not going off air but we are planning to bring in some changes like, may be the change in title and also new interns.”

Elaborating on the plans he adds, “It’s still not sure as the producers and channel are in talks about the same. Things are in the very initial stages. No one is allowed to talk about it.”

Are the audition for the new interns have started? “As I said it’s very earlier to talk about. Right now the creative of the show is planning of how to take the story ahead. The love track between Dr. Rahul and Simran is yet to start. Alongside the marriage of Riddhima-Armaan is also what has been planned,” chirps the source.

“Karan is all set to start with his film soon thus he wont be able to give more time. May be DMG can go on a seasonal break and come back with some freshness. But it will take long,” concludes the source.

So let’s wait and watch of what happens next.

Are Arjun Bijlani and Sanaya Irani Dating?

There is this huge RUMOUR going around that Arjun Bijlani and Sanaya Irani are love birds!

Well, if you go through any of their interviews and chat transcripts, you'll begin to think this rumour can very well be true. For Arjun goes around saying that he and Sanaya "know each other really well" and "are really close friends" and Sanaya keeps telling that on MJHT sets, she's closest to Arjun.
Then if you watch MJHT reports on SBS(Saas Bahu Saazish), and try to ignore the squeaky voice of the reporter and the romantic song that's bound to be playing and the jokes everybody's cracking,you'll find that Arjun and Sanaya really are very attached!

Add to this the fact that they have worked together in Left Right Left , and you'll begin to smell love somewhere...

BUT it has to be remembered that rumours have an unpleasant tendency to turn out false!
Like poor Mohit Sehgal aka Samrat never really had that 7-months-old daughter!

So its best to let sleeping dogs lie: those who like Arnaya may keep hoping its true, those who don't had better keep their fingers crossed, and lets all try to enjoy the MJHT romance meanwhile(on-screen , I mean!)

Once Karan Singh Grover was unbelievably voted out of the star-studded competition, there was no knowing as to what could happen.The glamorous night became intensely unpredictable.Gradually the razzmatazz of the evening faded and came the time for results...

There was no characteristic shilly-shallying as the judges enthusiastically heralded the victory of BAICHUNG BHUTIA.......



The Grand Finale was a fun-filled summary of the entire journey as eliminated contestants rocked the floor and Jhalak's beautiful moments and memories were revived through the awards...






The night began with a rocking dance performance on the sizzling track from Race by the three finalists..





Soon after Shilpa Shukla entertained one and all with her dance on "Tu Saala" and Parul completed her makeover with a sassy performance on "Tuk-Tuk Dekhe"....Monica Bedi too set the stage on fire with "Shut Up and Bounce"....(though the dress was way too weird..)




Hard Kaur in her element and at her dancing best shows why she rocks with her dance on "Ek Glassy"...and other contestants flaunt their dancing skills as well...

Malaika Arora Khan brings the oomph factor on the stage post which each of the finalists team up with equally talented dancers to give amazing performances...

Solace in SAB!

These days Kitani Mohabbat Hai (which happens to be my personal fav) is not going on an interesting track...(that Maddy stuff is seriously not funny). Likewise for MJHT, Yeh Rishta(Dhaniya is irritating...i feel like saying "hai mori maiya" on seeing her,myself!) and others....

In such hard times like these, SAB TV is like a Divine Intervention...The serials are so fresh and entertaining and the acting so very good that you just don't miss the absense of good-looking actors and cute romance...



For instance,Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is hilarious....and Daya's acting is not to be missed,guyz!...all episodes manage to keep you in splits till the very end..

Same for FIR, which is heavenly humorous...( with the entry of Ali Asghar, the serial is bound to touch new heights....atleast I hope so..)


Main Kab Saas Banungi, Jugni, Bhootwala Serial are all fine, though not as great as their counterparts...and I can never forget Yes Boss( I've grown up watching this serial,yaar!)..it's still as awesome as ever!

All in all, I think SAB is a full-on,zabardast entertainer...a must watch for everbody,indeed!! Whatcha think?

JYOTI - negativity at its zenith.....

Though the serial talks of “jyoti”, i.e., light-a symbol of positivism but it is full of negative and unscrupulous shades.
How can there be so many negative characters in a person’s family???? Topping the list is jyoti’s mother who is portrayed as a selfish and materialistic woman
……but her character is just unfathomable…..she is interested in the progress and welfare of all her children except jyoti, who is the earning member of the family. She is shown to ruin all proposals for marriage coming for jyoti just because she earns for the family…and is now very eager to get his son married (Sandeep who’s younger than Jyoti)……this logic fails to sink into our comprehension. How can a mother’s character be shown so corrupted and full of greed???

But her mother was not enough that her smallest sibling, sister Sushma recently was shown to marry Jyoti’s boyfriend after losing her virginity , and that too when she hadn’t even completed her school education , in other words, she had not yet reached the marriageable age (of course it needed some blind washing by Brij, Jyoti’s beau).

And then the recent blow, the revelation of Jyoti’s brother Deepu being shown to have given no entrance exam and had been wasting all the money for his education in a reckless manner and thus ruining his future.

And perhaps the only positive character in the serial, Jyoti’s sister Sudha was not spared either .Though she is loyal to Jyoti and is an ideal sister in all ways but she has a gray side as well, as she suffers from a split personality disorder which no one knows about.


We don’t understand what had the script writer in mind while writing the script. it sometimes appears more like a horror show…..how does he expect the viewers to like a serial so full of hate, malice , greed , …..the list is long.!!!!


Anyways the only comforting facet is Jyoti’s character….. played by Sneha Wagh who plays her character to perfection. She sacrifices her aspirations and dreams and leaves no stone unturned in securing the safety and security of her family. She reflects Indian beauty and her never-tiring efforts in ensuring the welfare of her family members and her selfless dedication to her family touches our hearts. Also Sudha, Jyoyi’s sister does an awesome job in playing the two sides of her character (as she suffers from split personality disorder). Also the recent entry of Sachin, the blind teacher played by Sarvar Ahuja has brought a little interest in the plot (don’t worry….he doesn’t have any negative side, I mean, not YET). He will play Jyoti’s new love and maybe that will increase the show’s TRP……

Enlightened Ekta!

The Enlightened One...

Remember Kyunki..., Kahaani..., Kasauti, Kasamh Se???
Yup, these are the toppers of Ekta Kapoor's bevy of serials. Thankfully, a god sent wave of reality shows, new and adventurous channels(NDTV Imagine, Colors etc) blew away these soaps from their pedestal.

And thus we finally got rid of the perpetual saas-bahu jhagde, love polygons, ghostly vamps, multiple marriages, and excessively good main leads, the features of any Ekta Kapoor Show.

But yahaan hamne chain ki saas bhari hi thi ki Ekta launched another fierce attack on us and this time through another channel-
NDTV Imagine!!!

Kitani Mohabbat Hai started airing and has since been slowly rising on the TRP ladder.

But hey, what a very very pleasant surprise!
For the first time in my life I saw a serial that had a female character, who had things other to do than always sharmana, khana banana, and apne pati ko pujna!!!
Aarohi, the protagonist, is a perfect blend of smartness, values , mischief and of course the unavoidable middle-classiyat!! This serial also boasts of a male character so normal that he actually felt cold when he , like a "perfect gentleman" ,offered his coat to his shivering girlfriend!! Otherwise, generally men(read Armaan and Samrat) are shown so strong, great, infallible that they seem bhagvan ke avatars!!!
Arjun, however is damn cute and very realistic!

Now think, if Ekta was her own self, toh aajkal ke episodes mein Aarohi would keep crying perpetually and in the end would have taken the entire blame on herself and apologised(ughhhhhh!!)

But nopes, Aarohi is as quick in answering tartly as is Arjun in thinking up ways to insult her.
Whats more,Arjun actually cried( and very great acting that was, for sure!), and is so practical that he is not leaving any stone unturned to make Aarohi pay back for her "mistake", like anybody would, under the circums.

Obviously, traces of the frustrating K-serials are still visible in this soap,but nobody can deny that it is FAR better.

So it seems her failures have finally enlightened Ekta and she has gotten the good sense to realize that "traditional" is not always "best".
Kitani Mohabbat Hai rocks, and I'm sure thats so for all of us here!!!

Let's hope Ekta continues and further betters her good work, and gives us even more amazing serials!!!

Back With A Bang!!!

Dill Mill Gayye is back to its very own self. And back with a bang. Yup, good news to all DMG fans who'd started dreading the serial because of the childish fights and tricks they were showing .(That time I used to feel DMG will fare better on Pogo!) .
Armaan-Riddhima are grabbing eyeballs again, their chemistry is tantalizing, romance has replaced fights, the new song is GREAT!!, and what more can you ask for??
Now we can hope for some entertainment what with Roadies over, Kitni Mohabbat Hai on a boring track, and MJHT going crazy about that hot(??) Sheena something.
Well, i'm lovin it!!!

Rajshree and Akshara - The Unbearable Combination...

Pata nhin in ma-beti ki problem kya hai.......dey behave as if Akshara is d first gurl 2 b gettin married bhai "beti ki shadi hai , sab kaise hoga", as Rajshree, Akshara's confused, frantic and and totally crack mother, puts it......."main kya karun , meri to kuch smjh nhi aa rha"....bhai aapki smjh main abtak kuch aaya hai. Remember wen Rituraj wanted 2 talk 2 Akshara privately , she said ,"chalo main bhi chalti hun..." wat d hell.......isse jyada hilarious scene aaj tak nhi dekha. Ohkkk....she has 2 portray a restless , dumb woman alwaz on her feet wid d least idea of wat 2 do. But Akshara.....she doesn't need 2 follow d footsteps of her mother. Madam k expressions to ekdum jhakaaas coz mouth is alwaz shifted 2 1 side , chalti hai to aisa lagta hai ki ek-ek step par tax lag rha hai and just recall how dumb and silent she was on her first meeting wid wud-b-hubby Naitik.....she is alwaz baffled and dependent on others....pata nhi Naitik ka kya haal karegi. BEWARE Naitik...

But der r a few reasons which make dis daily soap worth watching...
-d concept is new and very realistic.
-d overall casting is good and especially Akshara's family members (xcept her mother) do full justice 2 der roles.
-d location ... d city of lakes-Udaipur is really kewl and Akshara ka ghar to really awesome.
-kuch characters ki acting main comedy apne aap nikal aati hai...lyk Akshara and her mother......so d serial gives u a comic side as well (though it doesn't intend to...!!!!!)

Excel College- Ekdum Hatke!!!

Miley Jab Hum Tum's Excel College is a unique entity in itself.

Yahaan par sab chalta hai, boss!

Its truly said ki TV ki duniya mein everything is possible!!

Now, now,now....please don't tell me you never really found anything strange about that college!And well, agar hum mein se kuch MJHT ke romance mein itna doob gaye ki baki kuch kabhi dikha hi nahi, just for these guys, here's a list of the wierd things about apna Excel College:

• Session ke beech mein hi admission!! (Really, Gunjan and Nupur are such lucky people!)


• Ahemmm.......I really felt it was the height of indecency jab Mayank aur Nupur ko akele hi Ahemdabad bheja gaya!Not a teacher with them!!Did you ever hear of such a thing before??

• Saw Mayank and Nupur in the so-called Academic Meet(read Fun Festival!) ? Now I really wish I could be a part of such a mahaan college where competitions include dumb charades also! Sach mein, romantic scenes ke liye director log kya-kya nahi karte!

• Music Room to bhai Samrat and Gunjan ki private property lagti hai! I mean, you can see them talking useless things in their Music Room at all hours of the day!

• No padhai-likhai at all! All students are so busy romancing, ki aisi choti-choti cheeezein ke liye time hi nahi nikal pate bechaare!!
